Grayson County VFW Post 7726 paid respects March 3 at the burial of U.S. Navy veteran Robert F. Smith. Post Commander Dan Boyer and Chaplain Tommy Nichols conducted the service. The Honor Guard provided a 21-gun salute and “Taps” was played. The U.S. flag was presented to Cherie Lynn Smith, daughter of the deceased.
