John Wayne Anders Sr., 84, of Fries, Va., passed away March 14, 2024. He was born on Aug. 6, 1939, in Grayson County, Va., to Harvey and Edna Catron Anders.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Justin Hudson; son and special friend, John Wayne Anders Jr. and Sunshine, all of Fries, Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and William Johnson of Fries, Va.; sisters, Maxine Frazier and Unalee Davis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Brenda Anders, Kenneth and Sue Anders and Danny Anders, all of Galax, Va.; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a special friend.
