Elmer Glen Hensdell, 80, of Galax, Va., passed away Feb. 14, 2024. He was born on Sept. 21, 1943, in Grayson County, Va., to Elmer Glen and Daisy Burnett Hensdell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by a sister, Mary Lawless of Johnson City, Tenn.; a brother, James Hensdell of Galax, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
