Darlene Vaughan Martin, age 76, of Hillsville, Va., passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her home. Darlene was born in Carroll County, Va., on Feb. 9, 1948, to Carlie O’Neil and Iva Jones Vaughan.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim Martin Isom and Rick of Mooresville, N.C.; son, Chris Martin of Hillsville, Va.; brothers and sister-in-law, Benton and Sue Vaughn of Wilmington, N.C., and Calvin Vaughan of Fries, Va.; two granddaughters and spouses, Courtney Isom Marquardt and Derek of Terrell, N.C., and Sydney Isom Chapman and Sinjun of Wilmington, N.C.; several aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews, several cousins and dear friend, Karen Allison of Ivanhoe, Va.
