Beatrice Oleane Horton, 84, of Woodlawn, Va., passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Hillsville Health and Rehab. Mrs. Horton was born in Carroll County, Va., to the late Solamon and Seioto Sawyers Hawks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Horton; sons, Jerry Horton and Barry Horton; sister, Hermer Hawks; and brother, James Olen Hawks.
Survivors include her brothers, Solamon Allan Hawks and Randall Hawks; two grandchildren; and special friend, Charmon Brooks.
