Three individuals were arrested in Galax last week in separate incidents, one of which resulted in the alleged assault of a police officer.
Kalon G. McLaurin, 22, of Galax, was arrested on June 11 by Capt. James Cox for public intoxication, obstruction of justice and assault on a police officer.
