Your News. Your Paper. Now, on YOUR schedule.

By The Gazette

We've been working for several weeks to prepare this brand new online experience for readers of The Gazette, and we hope you like the improvements.

Here, you'll find articles from the print version of The Gazette, but often with extra online-only features like photo galleries, video, discussion forums, maps, original documents and more. You can also read special sections and an "E-Edition" of The Gazette, with every page in a PDF format for easy viewing.
New features include blogs from Gazette columnists and members of our community. The first two are Mike Morris, pastor of Cornerstone Community Church, writing about contemporary religious issues; and Bill Dunson, a zoologist and wildlife expert who writes about his encounters with our smaller neighbors in nature. We're recruiting bloggers right now, so if you have a topic in mind, send it to editor@galaxgazette.com.
Our favorite new feature at the new galaxgazette.com is that it gives YOU more ways to interact with each other and us. You'll also find new discussion forums where you can create a topic, a form for submitting a news item, an improved online poll, an interactive community calendar where you can list events, a "Pet of the Week" area where you can make your pet a star, and much more. And, we'll continue to offer reader comments for registered users.
We have some other features coming soon that will change the way you read and enjoy The Gazette. Our goals with the new site are to bring you news faster, to give readers more opportunities to interact and to give you a deeper, richer experience than the print edition of The Gazette alone can provide.
Let us know what you think!
