TCRH opening cardiology clinic

Practice will be headed by Dr. Paul Suri, with local cardiology staff

Twin County Regional Healthcare (TCRH) has announced the opening of Twin County Cardiology on April 16 and welcomed Dr. Paul A. Suri.

Twin County Cardiology will be temporarily located in the Twin County Surgery practice, at 225 Hospital Drive in Galax.

In a news release, TCRH said cardiology nursing staff members from the community have joined the Twin County Cardiology team.

Dr. Suri received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He also completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Additionally, he completed a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.

Dr. Suri is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He offers 26 years of clinical experience.

Twin County Cardiology is one of 11 outpatient clinics affiliated with the Twin County Physician Practices of Twin County Regional Healthcare.
