HILLSVILLE — The Hillsville Police Department is on the lookout for four people suspected of passing counterfeit money at the Dollar General Store in Hillsville.

According to a report from Sgt. Alan Gravley, two black females and two black males dressed as females entered the store on June 29, at approximately 5:30 p.m., where they passed off four counterfeit $100 bills.
"The group appeared to be together," said Gravley, who received images of the suspects from the store's surveillance cameras.
In addition to the surveillance footage, Gravley also received a description of three different vehicles they were driving:
• a dark blue or black, new Volvo C70 with a Georgia tag
• a black XD Jaguar
• a newer model black Jeep Compass
The male suspects are described as having female features, such as eye shadow and long fingernails. The photo of the suspect in the yellow shirt is supposedly one of the males.
Anyone with further information about the whereabouts of these suspects should contact Gravley at (276) 728-2251.
