No photo was available for Malloy.

On March 5, Sgt. Jody Poole, along with officers Jason Hawks and Sarah Patton, were dispatched to Turman Hardwood Flooring about a person acting suspiciously.

They located a person matching the description at the West Galax Mini Mart, according to the report. After speaking with John J. Brown, 46, of Fries, officers charged him with being intoxicated in public and possession of a controlled substance.

He is being held at the regional jail without bond.
