SPARTA, N.C. –– Grayson County rallied from a five-point fourth-quarter deficit and won going away, notching a 60-46 win over Alleghany, N.C. in a nondistrict girls’ game Monday.
The Blue Devils (10-4) trailed 40-35 after three quarters before outscoring the Trojans 25-6 down the stretch.
Madison Shupe led three Grayson County scorers in double figures with 20 points. Meredith Frost added 16 points and Camryn McGrady chipped in 14 for the Blue Devils.
Alleghany was led by Mica Sprinkle with 20 points.
