Your letter writer (“Voters made mistake,” Dec. 17) described the re-election of President Obama as a “slap in God’s face” and the “most deadly decision in the history of the country.”
Your writer accused the president of “treason. "Your writer, one of “God’s people [who] see the truth,” predicted that we would all die: “[there will be] no survivors.”
After a hard-fought campaign, President Obama was reelected by a majority of Americans.

There is a wrong in the Carroll County statutes that needs to be made right. Personal property tax is being levied on vehicles that are no longer registered or garaged in Carroll County.
Those who move from Carroll County must pay personal property tax in their new county before their vehicles can be registered. Yet Carroll County levies the full year of tax on those same vehicles if they were registered in the county on Jan. 1.
