    On the wide road
    This is to who answers, “seeking votes.” Obama is not fit to be president. Anybody who would vote for two gay people to get married, that makes me sick. I was watching TV the night, he said he was for it. If he does get it again, they are on the wide road and you know what that proves. They need to get their Bible out and get on the narrow road.

    Time for a liquor store?
    This is in response to the anti-whisky comment last week. I am a life-long citizen of Grayson County and there is no place inside of Grayson County that you can buy whisky, at least not legally. Maybe it is time now that Grayson County started looking at putting a liquor store in Grayson County so our tax dollars [stay here].

    Trail needs attention
    I have to agree with the caller — the City of Galax does a great job keeping Felts Park looking clean. Downtown Galax has a nice feel for tourism dollars. However, the New River Trail parking lot in Galax is an eyesore. The house they bought for the ranger station and gift shop looks haunted. The orange fencing and cross tiles piled out in the yard look trashy. How can we expect to look like a first class tourist area when our state park is not supporting one of our most popular assets?
