  • Galax gymnasts win at USAG event

    The USAG Junior Olympic gymnastics team of Galax competed in the Candy Cane Classic, hosted by the Roanoke Gymnastics Academy, in December. It was the team’s second meet of the 2008-09 season. Jenna Lawson qualified for the Level 4 sectional competition, to be held later this season in Manassas. Lawson compiled the highest all-around score for her team, and joins Makena Neely as a sectional qualifier.
