The Grayson County Sheriff's Dept. released the following information on Monday night's incident: "On April 29, at approximately 5:51 p.m., the Grayson County Sheriff's Office received information that a known fugitive by the name of Randy Lee Anders, 32, of 2264 Grassy Creek Road was seen walking on Grassy Creek Road, near Mouth of Wilson. Two on-duty deputies, along with two off-duty deputies responded to the area to search for Anders because of previous threats that Anders had allegedly made against law enforcement.

HILLSVILLE — Carroll County deputies are searching for a 48-year-old Lambsburg man as their latest "most wanted."

Tulsa Wayne Bobbitt is wanted for violation of probation and failure to appear in court on drug related as well as habitual offender charges.

HILLSVILLE — A missing 15-year-old and a 22-year-old male wanted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor had not made a run for the border after all, as police found them still in Galax early Wednesday morning.
Authorities had been searching for Desiree Travers since her family reported she had run away April 19, thinking she might be in the company of Carlos Enrique Reyna, 22, of Galax.
