INDEPENDENCE — With one quarter of the 2008-09 fiscal year officially complete, several departments in Grayson are already being red-flagged.
Grayson County Administrator Bill Ring gave an update on the budget to the board of supervisors at its regular meeting last Thursday night.
“Times are difficult,” said Ring. “Money is short.”
Of course, the summer and fall months tend to be the slower because tax revenues have not begun to come in.
