Harless Junior Fayne, 81, of Galax, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tenn.

Eli “Arthur” Anderson Sr., 71, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center.

He was born in Grayson County on July 26, 1940, to Hoyt Fielder and Carrie Lee Jones Anderson.

Frank R. Cox Sr., 80, of Pittsburgh, Pa., formerly of the Gold Hill community in Independence, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at the V.A. Hospital.

Curtis Russell, 75, of Forest, formerly of Flatridge, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at his home.

He was born June 20, 1937, at Flatridge to the late Eugene Russell and Lillian Nelson Russell.
