    Linda Louise Jennings Evans, 64, of Galax died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
    She was born to Breece and Mabel Jennings on Dec. 16, 1945, in Galax.
    Survivors include her husband, David Evans of the home; father-in-law, Bert Oscar Evans; one sister and brother-in-law, Gloria Evans Paisley and Monnie Ahart; and several cousins.
    A graveside service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

    He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Johnson Bartlett; his daughter, Nell Bartlett; and a brother, Joe Bartlett.

    Survivors include a sister, Betty Bartlett Burnett of Galax; a brother, A.G. Bartlett of Charlotte, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
