Virginia Boyer Jones, 90, of Galax, in the Baywood community, died May 15, 2012, at the Grayson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Independence.

Betty Coley Carter, 53, of Asheboro, N.C., died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at her residence.

A private family service will be held at a later date in Galax, Va.

Shelia Jane Allison, 60, of Hillsville, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at Trinity Mission of Hillsville.

She was born in Pulaski to the late Jason and Ava Largen Allison.
