The body of Desia Rae George, 33, of Fries, missing since April 15, was found Thursday in a creek alongside Brush Creek Road in Grayson County.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Department received a call at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday reporting that a cell phone that belonged to George had been found by a boy who was trimming weeds around a pond.

Deputies from the Grayson County and Carroll County sheriffs' department responded to the scene.
