Wright, Linkous exchange vows

Cyndi Leigh Wright and Timothy Adam Linkous were married at 7 p.m. May 26 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Rural Retreat.
The Rev. Larry A. Linkous Sr., father of the groom, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard “Butch” Wright of Rural Retreat. Her grandparents are Ms. Okey King and the late George King and Mr. and Mrs. Charles “Puffy” Wright of Rural Retreat. She is a dental assistant in King, N.C.
The groom is the son of Larry A. Linkous Sr. of Abingdon and Sandra Shipwash Linkous of Speedwell. His grandparents were the late John C. and Lucy Shipwash of Ivanhoe and the Late F.J. and Nina Bell Linkous of Speedwell. He is a deputy commissioner of the revenue for Wythe County.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The maid of honor was Ashley Collins. Bridesmaids were Nicole Linkous, Ashley Linkous Williams, Courtney Williams Cregger, Jessica Boyer Hale and Jessica Coleman Wolford.
Best man was Derek Cowan. Groomsmen were Dustin Linkous, Bradley Williams, Jeff Dunkley, Chad Hale and Jamie Dunkley.
Flower girl was Sarah Linkous. Ushers were Todd Busick, Anthony Cregger, Michael Wolford and Jamie Linkous. Greeters were Cody Smallwood, Page Linkous and Eden Linkous Carpenter.
Guest book attendants were Meagan Linkous Hudson and Elisha Linkous.
The wedding director was Kim Collins.
Ceremony music was provided by Katie Umberger Cowan, pianist; Allen Campbell, guitarist; and Kim Harris Cooley, soloist.
After a honeymoon trip to Savannah, Ga., the couple reside in Rural Retreat.
