Woman charged in death of trooper

A woman has been charged in the death of a Virginia State Trooper with ties to the Twin Counties.
State police last Wednesday charged a Hanover County woman in the October death of Trooper Andrew D. Fox.
Angelica C. Valencia, 27, of Doswell, is charged with one count of reckless driving.
Police say Valencia was driving the 1992 Jeep Cherokee that struck and killed Fox on the night of Oct. 5, while he was directing traffic outside the Virginia State Fair.
