A Fries woman has been arrested on 25 felony charges, according to a Galax Police Department report.
Tory Leigh Waller, 33, was arrested and charged with 24 counts of forgery in the city, on warrants obtained by Officer Darrin Alley.

During the booking process at the police department, comments made by the accused caused Officer Anne Toney to investigate an automobile owned by Waller and being operated by two other individuals.
Toney located the vehicle and requested assistance from Officer Jacob Vaughan and police canine Dunja. The dog alerted on the vehicle, and a search resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine.
Waller was charged by Toney with possession of methamphetamine.
She is being held in the New River Valley Regional Jail pending her appearance in the Galax General District Court.
