HILLSVILLE — Winds of change are blowing at Fancy Gap Elementary School, as educators took a step toward making it a site for alternative energy education.
James Madison University officials with the Virginia Wind for Schools program had contacted Carroll County educators about the idea, because Fancy Gap actually gets enough moving air to turn a wind turbine.
