Walmart larceny suspect arrested

Galax police say they have charged one half of a duo that allegedly stole merchandise from Walmart stores in Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee.
On Sept. 29, two people left the Galax Walmart with $4,000 in stolen merchandise, according to a police report. A security camera photo shows the two subjects leaving through the garden center with a cart overflowing with stolen electronics.
The Galax Police Department sent the photo to law enforcement agencies around the region seeking information, and discovered the pair was wanted for similar crimes in three states.
