Veterans Day program commended

This letter is to commend all concerned with the outstanding program that was presented on Veterans Day at Carroll County Intermediate School in Hillsville.
This ceremony was definitely over the top with patriotism, love of God and love of country.
From the performance of Junior ROTC members, the chorus, the band, the speeches by Gracie and Kymbre, who had won the patriotic essay contest, keynote speaker Lt. Col. Byron Penland (commander of the Radford Arsenal), Mr. Thompson, the CCIS principal, and the student body, perfection prevailed.
