Area truckers will roll out on Sept. 25 from Hillsville to help in the fight against cancer.
Participants in the fourth annual Truckers Parade Against Cancer will band together at Carroll County High School at 11 a.m., giving them time to eat and socialize before heading out at 2 p.m. westbound on U.S. 58, according to organizer Cindy Dixon.
The destination is Grayson County High School in Independence.
Many truckers have joined the “convoy for a cure” every year.
