Town should buy, preserve Hillsville's Bottle House

A friend of mine that I went through grade school with in Hillsville many, many, years ago sent me the clipping about the old Bottle House that Dr. Hope built years ago.
Some of us as Girl Scouts and Brownies had many wonderful times in this building. There were all kinds of birthday parties, etc., held there when we were kids and Hillsville was still a one-horse town.
I truly hope the town will buy the property and keep the “Bottle House” as a tourist attraction.
I brought my husband to Hillsville a few years ago to see the Bottle House and the house my dad and mom built right beside Dr. Hope’s house.
Dr Early Sr. purchased our house after my parents divorced.  In fact, they were kind enough to show my husband through the house.
I still have many friends living in Hillsville and I miss home very much. I wish I could go back to the good ole days in Hillsville.
Please take care of the Bottle House.
