Galax won its third state golf title in four years after taking a 12-shot lead on Monday.
HARRISONBURG – Despite having a drive of more than three hours to Heritage Oaks Golf Course, site of Monday and Tuesday’s Group A state tournament, Galax was given an 8:30 a.m. tee time Sunday for its practice round.
