TCRH welcomes first baby of 2014

Twin County Regional Hospital recently welcomed the first baby of 2014.
Jaiden Ercely Sauceda, daughter of Jessica Shinault and Roger Sauceda of Galax, was the baby born closest to New Year’s Day, on Jan. 2 at 7:56 a.m. She weighed seven pounds, seven ounces and measured 20 inches long.  

She was delivered at TCRH by Dr. Donald R. McKinley of Blue Ridge Physicians for Women.
The family received donated items from the community, which included Mary Kay products from Sue Chappell of the TCRH staff; a memory book from Chapters Bookshop; a tote bag and tumblers from First Citizens Bank; Avon products from Ruth Hale of the TCRH staff; a Tupperware cup and puzzle ball from Sue Reedy of the TCRH staff; a feeding set from Roy’s Diamond Center; a crocheted baby afghan and hat from the TCRH staff; a six-month free membership to the TCRH Wellness Center; baby clothing, a crocheted hat, mittens and a souvenir baby spoon from the TCRH Women’s Health Department; a mirror from Vaughan-Bassett Furniture; and gift certificates from Lemon’s Jewelry, Magic Mart, Porky’s, Ciro’s Pizza, The Galax Smokehouse, Kroger, RJ’s Pizza, Schewels Furniture and the TCRH Gift Shop.
