Suspect in pot-growing operation turns himself in

An Asheville, N.C., man has been arrested in connection with an indoor marijuana operation found last month on Pine Branch Road in the Flat Ridge community of Grayson County.
Richard Welsh recently turned himself in at the Grayson Sheriff’s Department.
Arrangements were made for Welsh to surrender. He later was freed on a $100,000 secured bond with a trial date set for Dec. 19 in Grayson General District Court.
