ELK CREEK –– The sixth annual Trout Fishing Olympics was held recently at the Richard and Brenda Sutherland Farm in Elk Creek. Though overcast at the beginning, the skies soon cleared enough to bring a mild, sunny day. Dr. Sidney B. Harvey, retired superintendent of Grayson County Schools and the organizer and motivating spirit for the 2008 Trout Fishing Olympics, proclaimed to all who came, “This is the best day we’ve ever had.”
