INDEPENDENCE — New programs implemented this year in Grayson County Schools have drastically reduced the number of students being suspended.
Independence Middle School Principal Bobby Cheeks and Bridle Creek Elementary Principal Pat Driscol presented the school board with results from the first semester of the two programs during the regular school board meeting Jan. 14.
Cheeks first talked about Effective School-wide Discipline, known as ESD.
