Police say that a Laurel Rescue Squad ambulance struck another vehicle at the Cranberry Road stoplight in Galax last Friday night, injuring six and heavily damaging the rescue squad vehicle.
The Carroll Sheriff's Office received a call at 10:28 p.m. of a gunshot wound on Knob Hill Lane in the Laurel section, according to Chief Deputy Glenn Nester. Deputies responded and believe the gunshot was self-inflicted.
