Shinault, Jones marry

Samantha Dawn Shinault and Corporal David Andrew Jones were united in marriage Dec. 22, 2011, by the Rev. Samuel Blevins at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Galax.
The bride is the daughter of Dorothy Sue Shinault and Cecil Eugene Shinault of Galax.
She graduated from Galax High School in 2009, and attends Wytheville Community College in the nursing program.
The groom is the son of Rhonda Carper and is the stepson of Tony Carper, both of Galax.
He graduated from Carroll County High School in 2008.
