She's six

Deaira MaKenlie Jones celebrated her sixth birthday Feb. 15 with a skating party at Galax Rollerland with family and friends. She is the daughter of Kevin and Lorie Jones of Galax.

Her sisters are Dezirae Burnette of Havelock, N.C., and Destiny Jones of the home. Her maternal grandparents are Larry and Ann Bobbitt of Independence. Paternal grandparents are Fred and Iona Adams of Galax and the late Ralph Jones of Galax. She graduated kindergarten May 14 from Oakland Elementary.
