INDEPENDENCE — A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred in Independence on Sept. 27.
Independence Police Chief James Wagoner said Robert Vernon Molesworth III, 30, of Hilltop Drive, is charged with possession of marijuana and malicious wounding accessory before the fact.
Warren Scott Robbins, 36, of 236 Nichols Drive, Independence, was charged with malicious wounding and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in the case. Molesworth's gun was allegedly used in the shooting.
