INDEPENDENCE — Grayson County will likely put its two schools included in Phase I of the long-term facilities improvement plan up for collateral as it looks for additional money to fund the projects.
The board has an outstanding loan of $16.3 million with SunTrust Bank. That number was expected to cover the costs of Phase I — which includes a new school in the western end of the county and renovations to Fries Middle School.
