INDEPENDENCE — The debate continued Monday night over how much money the school system should return to Grayson County from the savings of closing three schools.
The money saved from the closings was expected to offset the cost of a new school in the western end of the county, which is already underway.
At a joint meeting between the Grayson Board of Supervisors and school board to discuss the 2009-10 budget, one thing was certain — nobody knows how much money should be saved as each school in the county is closed.
