Rebels eliminate Grayson girls

BLUEFIELD –– Patrick Henry-Glade Spring jumped out to a 17-3 lead in and ended Grayson County’s season with a 54-39 defeat in the Region C Division 2 semifinals Thursday at Graham Middle School.

The Rebels (18-8) earned their third straight trip to the state tournament, denying Grayson County its first.

Patrick Henry faced Floyd County for the region title Saturday night.
