Why no books?
With the very high tax rates in Grayson County, why are our children at Independence Middle School not provided textbooks?
Editor’s note: Grayson Schools’ Superintendent Elizabeth Thomas says books are being provided. The school system recently adopted and bought new social studies textbooks for grades K-12. “Although we are in the process of adopting a new mathematics textbook series for all grade levels, the current math textbooks are available to our students,” Thomas said.
