Circuit Court

Calvin Jermaine Maxwell, 26, guilty of unlawful wounding, statutory burglary and brandishing a firearm; sentenced to 10 years and 4 months in jail, 9 years and 2 months are suspended; be on good behavior 9 years and 2 months; submit to substance abuse screening; waive fourth amendment right; supervised probation for six years; pay costs; pay restitution of $153.23 to Matthew J. Pugh and/or Twin County Regional Hospital and $116.80 to Billy E. Kitner Jr. and/or Twin County Regional Hospital; submit DNA sample; agree to be a cooperating witness; given credit for time served.

Richard Allen Weatherman, 46, guilty of two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor; sentenced to 24 months in jail, 23 months and 20 days are suspended; be on good behavior for 24 months; submit to substance abuse screening; waive fourth amendment right; supervised probation for 12 months; pay $424 costs; have no contact with the juvenile who was the complaining witness; given credit for time served.

Rhonda Poe Duncan, 41, guilty of possession of a schedule II drug; sentenced to five years in jail, suspended; be on good behavior for five years; submit to substance abuse screening; supervised probation for five years; pay $1,100 costs; operator’s license suspended six months; given credit for time served.

George Albert Harper III, 36, guilty of possession of schedule II drug and possession of marijuana; sentenced to five years and 20 days and a fine of $500, five years are suspended; be on good behavior five years; submit to substance abuse screening; waive fourth amendment right; supervised probation for four years; pay $1,810.50 costs; submit DNA sample; given credit for time served.

Shannon Dwaune Porter, 21, guilty of three counts of statutory burglary, grand larceny of an automobile, grand larceny of a firearm, possession of a firearm after having been a convicted felon, two counts of damage to property and petit larceny; sentenced to 25 years in jail and a fine of $3,000, 20 years and $2,000 are suspended; be on good behavior for 10 years; submit to substance abuse screening; waive fourth amendment right; supervised probation for 10 years; pay $5,853.35 costs; given credit for time served.

George Albert Harper III, 36, guilty of assault and battery and obstruction of justice with force; sentenced to four years and 12 months in jail, suspended; be on good behavior for five years; submit to substance abuse screening; waive fourth amendment; supervised probation for four years; pay $1,702 costs; submit DNA sample; given credit for time served.

Leonard Calfee, 46, guilty of failure to register as a sex offender - second offense; sentenced to one year in jail; pay $950 costs; submit DNA sample; given credit for time served.

Jamie Dean Taylor, 29, guilty of possession of marijuana; sentenced to 30 days in jail; probation for an indefinite time.

Jessica Lee Doss, 30, guilty of accessory before the fact of distribution of schedule II drug and abuse or child neglect; sentenced to five years and two days in jail, five years are suspended; pay costs of $2,600; operator’s license suspended six months; destruction of contraband held in investigation; cooperation with the Department of Social Services; submit DNA sample; given credit for time served.

Marcia Lee Williams, 50, guilty of driving under the influence - third offense in less than 10 years; sentenced to three years and seven months in jail and a fine of $1,000, three yeas suspended; pay restitution; submit DNA sample; given credit for time served.
