Poll shows Obama, Kaine leading in Virginia

SALEM — Roanoke College has just released a poll showing President Obama with an 8-point lead in Virginia and Democrat Tim Kaine with an even bigger 10-point lead in the Senate race.
This is a poll of likely voters, not registered voters, which makes it a bit more accurate pollsters would argue.
This poll also includes calls to cellphones, not just landlines. Figuring out how to account for the growing number of people with no landlines has become an issue for pollsters around the country, so this puts Roanoke College ahead of the curve.
