FRIES — A Fries couple is being held without bond after a search of their home turned up drugs.
On Nov. 24, members of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and the Twin County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of David Andrew Dalton, 37, and Amy Moore Dalton, 36, of Carnation Lane. Investigators seized $1,013 in cash, two grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a shotgun, a handgun, a Dodge truck and an ATV.
Both Daltons were charged with distribution of meth, conspiracy to distribute meth, possession of meth, possession of firearms while in possession of drugs and manufacturing marijuana. Both are being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail in Dublin.
Grayson Sheriff Richard Vaughan said these arrests were part of an ongoing investigation that his office and the drug task force have been conducting for the past couple of months.
“We are hoping that, with this arrest, the neighborhood will be safer for the citizens in Stevens Creek and the surrounding area,” said Vaughan.
