A Galax man and a juvenile are charged with burglary and larceny

A Galax man and a Galax juvenile were arrested and charged with burglary at Galax Auto Sales, along with the larceny of two vehicles, according to Police Chief Rick Clark.
Galax police responded to Galax Auto Sales on May 11 after the owner of the business discovered that the building was broken in to and that two cars were damaged.
“The investigation revealed that the pair had broken in to the business and taken the keys to two vehicles, which were taken from the lot. Both vehicles were damaged while the men were driving them. The vehicles were returned to the lot prior to the crime being discovered,” a police report said.
Officer Chris Hines charged Michael Lee Repasi, 18, of Galax with burglary and grand larceny. Repasi is being held in the New River Valley Regional Jail.
A 17-year-old juvenile was charged by Galax Detective Aaron Criner with burglary and grand larceny. He is being held in the juvenile detention center.
