Patton, Byron exchange vows

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. — Leanne Darlene Patton and James Corey Byron were united in marriage June 29 in Memorial Chapel at Fort Campbell Army Post. The ceremony was officiated by Chaplain Jose M. Rondon.
The bride is the daughter of Ray and Lisa Patton of Hillsville, Va. She is the granddaughter of Carl and Joyce Caudill of Fancy Gap, Va., and Essie and the late Phil Patton of Hillsville, Va.

The groom is the son of James Byron and Debra Byron of Beavercreek, Ohio. He is the grandson of Donald and Dorothy Ellis of Carlisle, Pa., and the late James Byron and Evelyn Byron of Carlisle, Pa.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white lace-up charmeuse gown, with an embroidered neckline and scalloped embellishments along the train hem. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of tulips.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Carroll County High School in Hillsville, Va., and a 2012 graduate of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Va., with a bachelor of Arts degree in studio art. She was a cadet in the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership corps program at the college.
Prior to the engagement, the bride taught art at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., and is now employed by the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System in Clarksville, Tenn.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio, and a 2012 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va., with a bachelor of arts degree in history. He serves as an officer in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell.
After a honeymoon in Charleston, S.C., the couple resides in Clarksville, Tenn.
