ABINGDON — The January 2012 assault of a drug informant at a Cana home has led to the federal conviction of a 37-year-old Carroll County man.
Daniel Wade Monday of Cana appeared in federal court in Abingdon on Jan. 14 to receive his sentence after pleading guilty in the case of retaliating against a federal witness.
Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force Officer Ricky Carr swore out a complaint last May in a case involving Monday and Celia Haynes Edwards (also known as Tina Hawks), according to court records.
