Med-Fit partners with ESPN to help students

INDEPENDENCE — An ESPN documentary on Tuesday will feature Med-Fit Systems and its sponsorship of an effort to fix up a school in hurricane-devastated New Orleans.
The renovation included Nautilus fitness equipment donated by Med-Fit. The company has a manufacturing facility in Independence.
The one-hour TV show, “RISE UP: New Orleans,” — airing at 7 p.m. — features New Orleans-based Eleanor McMain Secondary School and members of the New Orleans Saints’ staff and players, including Drew Brees.
