RINER — Derrick Duncan threw two touchdown passes to Keifer Titus and ran for another one to lead Auburn over Galax 21-6 in a nondistrict game Friday at Henry Sink Field.
Titus hauled in a 79-yard scoring toss from Duncan in the first quarter, but Galax pulled to within 7-6 on Terrance Mazon’s 16-yard run later in the period.
The score held until the third period, when Duncan scored from 2 yards out. He added a 19-yard scoring pass to Titus in the fourth quarter.
Galax’s attempt at a comeback was halted by two interceptions in the fourth quarter.
