HILLSVILLE — Favorable bids for renovations at Carroll Public Library will pay for more work than county officials had hoped for, Assistant Administrator Nikki Shank explained at the supervisors’ meeting Feb. 13.
Carroll County had landed a $200,000 grant from Rural Development’s Community Facilities Program that, along with a $66,700 match, will pay for significant improvements to the library that was built in 1982.
